We begin our walk and, to our right, we will see a sports track that we will cross on its side. The path, initially narrow, slides following the contour line, surrounding the crop fields. In a short distance, we will cross a small valley, and from this point, the ascent to Cucurucho begins. An ascent of almost 300 meters of elevation gain that we will have to overcome in a small space, forcing the path to zigzag constantly under a thick forest. The panoramic views that await us at the top of Cucurucho are a more than adequate reward for the effort made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Descent towards the Escabas River<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Once at the summit of Cucurucho, the trail begins a continuous descent in search of the Escabas River, which we will cross through the charming Puente de las Labr\u00e1s. The path goes up the river, following the valley floor and staying parallel to the riverbed. In this way, we arrived at the beautiful place of La Semilla, where we crossed the river again, but this time over another charming bridge. <\/p>\n\n\n\n We continue our way, and shortly before reaching the road, we will find a path on the left that leads us towards La Hocecilla. From here, the path transforms into a path that explores every bend and ledge, making its way through a narrow gorge with vertical walls. In this environment, numerous fountains spring up, the most notable being the Aguardentera and the Tabernera. Once this narrow pass is overcome, the valley moderates its slope, giving way to a lush forest. The path continues its ascent until it reaches "La Cruz de la Nava" and from here, it begins a continuous descent that will take us back to the starting point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
