One of the most emblematic places in the entire Serran\u00eda de Cuenca, is Natural Monument of the Birth of the Cuervo River<\/strong>, an enclave of great beauty that is worth knowing since it is an ideal place to visit and enjoy with the family.<\/p>\n

The source of the Cuervo River is located in the northwest corner of the province of Cuenca, in the municipality of Vega del Codorno, a small mountain town divided into different neighborhoods that welcomes those who visit this curious town.<\/p>\n

The main characteristic to highlight about this place is its great geological interest, since the river is born from a series of springs gushing out of the limestone rock<\/strong>, which little by little has been modifying the appearance of this waterfall, creating a multitude of tuff rock formations that give that special touch to this site. In spring the water falls from a height of approximately 20 meters and forms a wide curtain of water that sometimes goes down the stairs to access the upper part.<\/p>\n

In the area around the birth you can find a forest of pines and oaks, which create an atmosphere of great tranquility if what you want is to take a good bath in nature. In this environment you can find a wide variety of animals, such as roe deer, wild boars, deer and birds of prey.<\/p>\n
