Tosca Reservoir: Nature in Santa Mar\u00eda del Val<\/h1>\n

In an open valley, crossed by the waters of the Cuervo River, is the impressive Embalse de la Tosca. A Regulating Reservoir<\/h3>\n

The Tosca Reservoir is fed by the waters of the Cuervo River and serves as a regulator. With a capacity of 3 cubic hm and a surface area of 50 ha, this reservoir its waters flow into the Tobar Lagoon<\/a><\/strong>. The Tosca Reservoir and Santa Mar\u00eda del Val are located in a distant and remote place, bordering to the north with the lands of Laguna Seca and El Tobar, and to the south with Poyatos. This environment is undoubtedly one of the most abrupt and challenging jewels<\/strong> of the Serran\u00eda de Cuenca.<\/p>\n

The dam that forms the Tosca Reservoir is an impressive structure. Built in 1964, this concrete dam has a height of 34 meters and a crest length of 54 meters.
