It concentrates within its territory an endless number of enclaves of sublime beauty and essential places for those who want to get to know the Serran\u00eda Conquense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Not in vain are there many tourist accommodations and bars and restaurants that invite the traveler to make a mandatory stop, and even to use this town as a base of operations from which to explore the rest of the mountain range.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Nail and its surroundings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nestled <strong>between huge limestone rock walls <\/strong>that flow from the so-called millstones towards the calm lagoon that bathes the streets of the town. It has one of the most famous trails in the entire Serran\u00eda, known as <a href=\"https:\/\/turismoserraniacuenca.com\/en\/item\/pr-cu-37-pnsc-04-sendero-del-escaleron-a-la-raya\/\">\u201cThe Staircase and the Line\u201d<\/a>, is the <strong>PR-CU 37<\/strong>, which will take us around the Laguna de U\u00f1a reaching the height of the molars to give us impressive views, which are the same as those observed by the numerous vultures that we will find peering over the cliffs, sometimes just a few meters above our heads, other times below. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And the impressive rock walls that dominate the landscape also shape the personality of the inhabitants of U\u00f1a, and perhaps for this reason we can find a small but beautiful curiosity along the path, <strong>the hermitage of \u201cThe Virgin of Espinar\u201d<\/strong>, located in a corner of a rock, a little hidden, but highly revered by its countrymen, who constantly adorn it with flowers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To ascend to the <a href=\"https:\/\/turismoserraniacuenca.com\/en\/item\/mirador-de-una\/\">U\u00f1a Viewpoint<\/a>, where we can have an impressive perspective of the whole town and its enclave, we will have to pass by the <strong>Regional School of Fishing<\/strong>, in the Rinc\u00f3n stream where courses are sometimes organized for those who want to start in the art of river fishing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:27px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure Lagoon<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div style=\"height:38px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Wood, the great resource of the Serran\u00eda<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The history of this small town is linked to the <strong>timber harvesting <\/strong>of the extensive pine forests located in the heights called &quot;las muelas&quot;, in this case a cable <strong>It covered a difference in altitude of 200 metres over a distance of just over a kilometre. <\/strong>to be able to lower the logs of the so-called <strong>\u201cWooden Mill\u201d.<\/strong> To give us an idea, we find a recently built structure that commemorates the 100 years of its commissioning. <strong>cable designed by The construction of this canal forced the water level of the lagoon to rise, drying up <strong>The Tobaceous Waterfall of U\u00f1a<\/strong>, one of the most impressive and beautiful in the area, which can be admired from the <a href=\"https:\/\/turismoserraniacuenca.com\/en\/item\/mirador-del-travertino-de-una\/\">U\u00f1a Travertine Viewpoint<\/a>This waterfall will once again recover the water that gave it life thanks to a project to redirect the waters of the Rincon stream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The channel <strong>You can travel to the town of Villalba de la Sierra<\/strong>, thanks to the railings that accompany it. This route, although it is not within the approved routes that the <strong>Mountain Sports Federation <\/strong>throughout the Serran\u00eda, it will not leave indifferent those who dare to do it, but remember that it is linear and if you have to return to U\u00f1a, it will be by the same path.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Much more to discover<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the <strong>caving lovers<\/strong> In the U\u00f1a area we find the possibility of visiting one of the most emblematic caves in the area. This serves as an introduction to speleology due to its simplicity, but without detracting from the formations that we find in it.
