Your adventure begins at the Fuente de las Tablas Hostel, a place that immerses you in a spectacular natural environment. From here, you will begin your descent towards the Boquerón stream, passing through the point of crossroads where trails divide PR-CU 108 and PR-CU 109. It is important to keep in mind that in times of flood, this point can flood, so you must consider the safety of your route.
Exploration of Cerro Modorra
Once you have crossed the stream, you will continue following the path that ascends the opposite slope until you reach the base of Modorra Hill. Here, you will reach the junction of the circular path. Turn left and continue along a wide track. Soon, you will reach a diversion that will take you to Modorra Hill through a narrow and steep path, with a route of approximately 2 kilometers, round trip.
Exploration of the Mediterranean Forest Mass
The main trail continues entering the forest, following the base of the hill. The trail may be poorly defined in some parts, so pay attention to the signage. You will arrive at Fuente del Arenazo Recreation Area, a perfect place to take a break and enjoy nature. Shortly after, you will take a path that turns to the right and will take you even further into the beauty of the Mediterranean forest mass.
