In the Serranía de Cuenca, a place of great natural beauty, there is an interpretation center that takes us to the origin of water. Its about Interpretation Center of the Birth of the Cuervo River, an enclave of great geological and environmental interest that is worth visiting.
This space is located in the municipal area of Vega del Codorno, and it is located in the old blacksmith's house, a historic building that has been rehabilitated to house the interpretation center.
The interpretation center
This resource has a permanent exhibition that shows us the origin of the Cuervo River, from its source in the Fuente de la Fuensanta to its mouth in the Júcar River. The exhibition features information panels, models and audiovisuals that help us understand the water cycle and the importance of rivers in the ecosystem.
The interpretation center also has a nature classroom, where workshops and educational activities are held for children and adults.
Tips for visiting the Cuervo River Interpretation Center
- The best time to visit the interpretation centre is in summer when the centre is open.
- It is advisable to wear comfortable walking shoes if we are going to visit the Birth of the Raven.
- Please check the opening calendar. These interpretation centres have variable opening hours, and we do not currently have one. We also know that they may be temporarily closed during the winter months. They are usually open during the summer months and other important dates. Please check their opening hours before visiting.
