The Alto de la Vega Recreational Area is a perfect place to make a stop on your way to the Birth of the Cuervo River. Located at the access from the road that leads to the Cuervo River and the forest track that comes from Las Majadas, this recreational area offers a quieter and less crowded environment compared to the Nacimiento del Río Cuervo parking lot itself.

This recreational area is located very close to the Source of the Cuervo River, in a place of special beauty. at almost 1500 meters high, which makes it an ideal place to stop and rest during your visit. It is also very easy to get to, since it is located on a bank and is visible from the road. If you go out from the Birth of the Raven towards Tragacete, you will immediately see it on your left.

Rules of Use and Recommendations

The Alto de la Vega Recreational Area picnic area is also under private management, but Its use is not exclusive for the customers of the picnic area, but is open to any visitor. The capacity of this recreational area is approximately 50 people.
