The San Cristóbal Hill Route will take you to explore an exciting trail that begins in Zarzuela, located at an altitude of 1,059 meters. Beginning in Zarzuela
Your adventure begins in Zarzuela, where you will take the Camino de Los Collados. Turning right, you will continue along the Barbelloso path until you reach near La Fuente de La Rubia, which is located at the base of the San Cristobal Hill. From this point, you will begin the ascent to the hill, which rises to an altitude of 1,182 meters. At the top, a site full of history awaits you: remains of a Celtiberian village that will transport you back in time.
Exploring the Undulations of the Terrain
From the top of Cerro de San Cristóbal, you will continue along a path that marks the border with the municipality of Collados. During the tour, you will experience ups and downs as you go along through different undulations of the terrain. Some of the places you will cross on this trail include Loma de los Navajuelos, La Majada del Pino Sólo, Collado del Portichuelo, El Cerro Hueco, Peña de la Monja, Cerro Medio and El Escalerón, where you will connect with the Pajares path.
Discovering New Horizons
The excitement never stops as you continue through Peña del Tío Manco and Vallejo de la Víbora, crossing a path called Rocho de la Media Luna. Your trail will take you through Cañada del Peral, and you will eventually reach Camino del Villarejo. Here, you will approach Zarzuela again, completing an unforgettable experience of hiking and exploring nature.
