This trail offers a variety of tour options, including its main circular layout, two variants and a deviation towards a viewpoint, all of them clearly marked. On this walk, you will immerse yourself in valleys and hills of extraordinary beauty, with strategic points to enjoy extensive landscapes.

Beamud Viewpoint: A Strategic Observation Point

One of these panoramic places will give you the opportunity to observe the mountain peaks from the hills located on the slopes of the Cerecea peak. This mountain is located between two very different natural environments: the Triassic limestone and sandstone formations of the Sierra de Valdemeca. Besides, The Beamud Viewpoint will offer you a splendid view of the town and its natural environment, crossed by the Magdalena stream.

Ethnographic Elements on the Trail

Throughout your walk, you will encounter ethnographic elements that have to do with the traditions and uses of the territory, such as fountains, sheds, lime kilns, places to collect pine cones, old stone walls, quarries and much more.

Varied Hiking Routes

The recommended direction of the trail will take you to the Magdalena stream, which you will cross to continue along its left bank, passing next to the Fountain of the Hontanares. Later, the medium and short itineraries will separate in the direction of Noguerón. The long itinerary will continue along old bridle paths, passing through the Juan Romero Mill, the Entredicho forest track and the Camino de los Bañaderos.

Then, you will meet the average route again when ascending to the hill near the Cuckoo Fountain, before heading towards La Muela. Finally, near the town, you will meet the short itinerary.
