Climb to Huélamo Castle: A Walk with History and Impressive Views
This path, more than a path, is a beautiful walk that invites us to crown the hill where an ancient fortress sits while overlooking the beautiful valley that gives life to a young Júcar river.
A Short and Scenic Walk
Our walk does not exceed a kilometer in distance, although it is clear that we will have to overcome a small slope that does not exceed 80 m. We start the tour in the town of Huélamo, if we head towards the square, we will find the starting point. While you explore this picturesque town you can enjoy the beauty that surrounds it and the specialness of the place where it is located, showing us that traditional mountain architecture as it hangs from the side of a small hill.

Exploring the History of Hélamo
As you walk through its streets, you will be able to appreciate the rich history of Huélamo, but it is undoubtedly the end of our path that shows us what is special about this walk, since we can visit the vestiges of the ancient Arab fortress that stands imposingly above the village.
Stunning Panoramic Views
The views from up here are very interesting, from this elevated position, you can enjoy impressive panoramic views of the Júcar River valley in its upper course, which adds an additional natural attraction to the climb.
