He Shearers' Prado House Trail gives you the opportunity to explore the Palancares and Tierra Muerta Natural Monument, a geological jewel that houses one of the most important karst complexes in Spain. This area is known for its more than twenty torcas, sinkholes, chasms, sinkholes, lava flows and other unique geological phenomena.

A 7 kilometer journey 

This trail, which is located in the northern part of the Natural Monument, is a circular route of approximately 7 km. It begins at the Casa del Prado de los Esquiladores, where the BRIF (Forest Fire Reinforcement Brigade) is located. Along the route, you will have the opportunity to explore unique trees such as "the fat sabina or the sabinorro" and "the pine of Uncle Rojo", a specimen that is more than 300 years old and 30 meters long.

An exceptional karst landscape

This trail will take you through an exceptional karst landscape, where you can discover chasms, natural ponds (something unusual in a karst environment), and ponds built by humans to supply water to local fauna and livestock in times of scarcity. .
