Each of the around 30 torcas has its own history and personality. Some, like the Torca del Lobo and Torca de la Bride, have myths and legends surrounding their origin and name. Immerse yourself in these stories as you explore these unique formations.
Hiking options tailored to you
The Torcas Interpretive Trail offers two tour options, meaning you can tailor your experience based on your fitness level and the time available. If you want a short walk, you can opt for the 1.5 kilometer route. For those looking for a more complete experience, there is a 6 kilometer route. You choose!
Beauty under the shadow of the black pines
During your walk, you will be surrounded by a lush black pine forest, which provides shade and coolness, ideal for exploring on hot summer days. This natural environment is a perfect place to enjoy the beauty of the Serranía Alta de Cuenca.
Unique trees: the grandfather pine and the candelabra pine
In addition to the torcas, you will have the opportunity to discover two unique trees known as the "grandfather pine" and the "candelabra pine". Both trees have their own history and impressive age, at least 500 and 400 years old, respectively. These trees add a special touch to your experience in Las Torcas.
